Tucked into an evergreen glen right across the road from the Kalama River, this charming chalet makes a peaceful - yet easy - escape into Washington's natural splendor. It's a place for beautiful days spent outside, with six kayaks (four double, two single), four innertubes, and a bike provided for your use.

This two-story cabin enjoys a particularly serene location overlooking the woods and the river's rolling waters.
There's so much that's special about the outdoor space here --- a tree-lined lawn where your kids and pets can play, a hammock for afternoon naps, and Adirondack chairs beckoning you to relax and take in the view. Sip your first cup of coffee with a view of the river outside on the deck, spend your afternoons barbecuing on the gas grill, and gather around the firepit in the evenings to roast marshmallows and swap stories of the day's adventures. This home also offers an outdoor movie screen and projector for evening movie watching. The house is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, whether that means hiking around Mt. St. Helens or playing volleyball, badminton, and basketball at home (a net, hoop, and ball are even provided).
The renovated interior feels both atmospheric and comfortably updated throughout. The kitchen is equipped for your every culinary whim, offering stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an adjacent dining area with ample seating. At night, cozy up to stream movies in the living room or den (both with wood stoves), retreat to the home office to log onto the high-speed WiFi, or get a tournament going on the combination pool/air hockey/ping-pong table.
At night, there are three bedrooms to choose from, including two downstairs with twin beds that can be made into kings if desired. Additional sleeping arrangements are found in the den, the office, and the separate converted garage.

Loved the peaceful surroundings, very safe neighborhood, clear instructions, extremely proactive and gracious host, beautiful spacious home, all amenities and the MOST well-stocked Airbnb ever!! My puppies enjoyed it too. Beds very comfy and kitchen is lovely!! I can go on and on about it. Thank you!!

This home was beautiful, is in a peaceful scenic area, and had all the amenities we needed. Very spacious house that was rustic yet with all the modern touches. The wifi, TVs, game room, inflatable kayaks, tubes, fire pit, bbq grill, and board games made for fun with the family. The river across the street was great to float with the kayaks and tubes. The family had a great time.
Also the host was easy to contact and very good at answering our questions.

We absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and had everything you could want or need and more. There was plenty of space for our family. Each of our boys had their own bed. The extras made it even better from kayaks, tubes, air hockey, darts and bike. The kitchen provided enough space for cooking and all the pots/pans and utensils you would need for cooking a full meal. The owners were very responsive to questions we had while there and also provided wonderful recommendations. The beds and pillows were comfy too! There were even extra blankets and pillows, enough towels that I didn’t have to keep washing as well as beach towels for the river, we normally have to bring towels for the water when we take our vacations so this was a welcome surprise. It was the perfect place for our family vacation!
