Hillside Retreat Near Universal Studios & Hollywood Sign

The home was beautiful and in a secure location. We took a family trip to Universal Studios and the proximity to the park was perfect for us. You also truly feel like you are in THE Hollywood Hills. Our host was fantastic, very responsive to our questions and left great snacks for the kiddos! Check in was easy as well with the host sending all important information the day before and the check out experience/expectations were reasonable and were not mandatory.

This isn't particularly a bad thing but the pictures don't show how many stairs are inside the house. When entering there are very steap stairs down into the house and then there are multiple staircases inside the house as well. We were traveling with a physically disabled family member and it was difficult getting their wheelchair/scooter in and out of the home but thats also partly our fault because I had forgotten to inform our host of that information. I am absolutely positive that the host would have made us aware of the stairs if I had remembered to say something. The host really was responsive to all inquiries. Also, the jets in both bathtubs were pretty dirty so we didn't use that feature of the bathtub/shower.
