Suite dei Cherubini

The location was excellent - right in the heart of Volterra, directly above a great cafe and very close to the Centro Studi Santa Maria Maddalena, the bus station and so many excellent restaurants. The suite is newly renovated, we were the first guests and it was so nice and clean and well appointed - has a good size kitchenette with stove top and oven, microwave, small fridge and freezer, dishwasher, espresso machine (with steamer), and plenty of dishes, glassware and cutlery. It has a spacious living room with the king size bed in a lofted space that looks down onto the living room. The second room is off the living and the bathroom w/shower is upstairs in the loft. Beds were pretty comfortable and there is ample closet space to unpack and make yourself at home. The apartment has lots of beautiful details and was cozy and comfortable for the week we stayed there! Truly the perfect spot and a wonderful place to stay!

Not a negative, but just something to know before arriving, this apartment is a 3rd floor walk-up, so just consider that when packing, it was a haul with our luggage, but day to day it was a breeze to walk up and down the stairs, there is also a motorized lift that makes this apartment more accessible if needed. You have to arrange to meet the manager to exchange keys and we did have to check out a bit early, but she was so incredibly nice and helpful and accommodating of our late arrival and early check out! Truly no complaints, just things to keep in mind.
