Wild Wood Beach Fitness Resort at Koh Tao

Die Lage ist super fußläufig vom Pier zu erreichen. Es gibt diverse Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Das Gym befindet sich direkt am Strand und kann kostenlos mitbenutzt werden. In dem Gym gibt es neben der Sauna auch einen Pool und eine Eistonne.

Die Bungalows liegen hinter dem Gym, in Richtung des Landesinneren, also nicht direkt am Strand. Wir hatten den Bungalow „01“ und konnten von 8-20 Uhr die laute Musik aus dem Gym hören. Somit war eine Nutzung der Terrasse ohne laute Beschallung kaum möglich. Auch von der angrenzenden „Food Village“ war früh morgens bis spät abends Lärm zu hören. Der Bungalow war nicht überall sauber. Das Bettlaken und die Kissenbezügen hatten Flecken. Zudem befand sich am Waschbecken alte Zahnpastareste von unserem Vorgänger - diese wurden auch während unseres Aufenthalts nicht entfernt. Wann die Zimmer sauber gemacht werden, ist ebenfalls unklar gewesen. Mal war unser Bungalow schon um 11:30 Uhr gereinigt, mal noch nicht mal um 16:00 Uhr. Als wir nur die Handtücher tauschen wollten, teilte man uns mit, dass es keine mehr geben würde und wir die Strandhandtücher nehmen müssen. Begründet wurde dies mit dem Wechsel der Gäste in den anderen Bungalows.

Personeel is erg aardig. Bedden liggen top, heerlijk zacht. Je kunt het drukkere gedeelte tevoet opzoeken. Al hadden wij wel een scooter gehuurd. Massage salon om de hoek is goed. En je kunt vanaf de pier lopend er naartoe.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, das Personal sehr nett und die Lage direkt am Strand war wirklich fantastisch! Die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge überhaupt!

Decent gym and recovery facilities, ice bath, sauna and steam room and the view was probably the best part of the stay.

I originally booked and paid for 2 nights at the property. However, after the first night, I requested a refund for the second night due to multiple issues that made the stay extremely uncomfortable and not as advertised. The room had a significant mosquito problem, which raised hygiene and health concerns. The pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable, making it difficult to sleep, and the noise insulation was very poor — I could clearly hear neighbours coughing, conversations, motorbikes, and outside noise throughout the night because the walls were extremely thin. After raising these concerns, the staff attempted to improve the room situation, however the changes made did not meaningfully resolve the issues. I also waited most of the day for the manager to confirm whether I would be allowed to check out early and receive a refund for the unused second night, but ultimately the refund request was denied. Due to these ongoing issues, I did not feel comfortable continuing my stay at the property and believe the accommodation was misleading compared to what was advertised.
