The staff were very friendly and it was in a lovely location, very quiet and near the beach.
The decor etc in the hotel is old and tired. Its not particularly warm and welcoming and theres zero atmosphere in the bar or restaurant. Our room was tiny and either hot or cold and a bit smelly (dusty). The shower was hot but a trickle and the beds were uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin, therefore no privacy. I wouldn't call this value for money but is indicative of the standard of Highland hotels these days. Also, you have to book breakfast and £15 is steep! Also, was woken up by the seagull family living on the roof at 5.30am each morning.
