Location (proximity to shops yet quiet enough area to study), spacious, clean. Nice water pressure. Downstairs loo. Smart TV.

Wifi slow and intermittent. Garden a bit neglected and one neighbour has dumped cars filled with rubbish in adjacent parking (not rental property owners’).

The property was well presented on a surface level, had all amenities that guests would require and was in a good location that was commutable to town, and walking distance to shops, parks etc. Bedding and towels were clean.

Beyond surface clean, the property was grimy. There was mould along the back of the kitchen sink and all around the bathroom / shower. The fixtures in the property (curtain rails in the living room) looked as though they would fall if moved, electrical sockets in the kitchen were loose and the downstairs toilet looked recently used. The garden fence was falling down, and the garden gate did actually fall down during our stay. It took 5 days for somebody to fix it which was not ideal considering it left the garden open and we had a dog. The garden was also very overgrown. The front gate also doesn’t close properly and gets stuck on entrance path, making it difficult to actually get through with baggage.
