Gorgeous new apartment in a fabulous location. Apartment was quiet and clean and so close main attractions. 3 minutes to Rialto where the water transfer drops you off which is perfect when carrying large cases. Host was very responsive when we were arriving. Good communication.
We were on the top floor (4th). There was a luggage lift in the building but we were told we were not able to use this but not clear why. If the luggage lift is out of service this needs to be resolved. We had to struggle with two large heavy suitcases up and down 4 flights of stairs and the stairs are tight. Sara who checked us in kindly helped with one of the cases but the luggage lift is essential for the higher floors.

Everything good apart from see below
I wrote and said we were two people in their 70swith a grandson. The flat was 4th floor with no lift. Not easy for the old. We should have been warned.

I can’t say, maybe steep stairs, what is quite common for Venetian buildings:-).

The apartment was spacious and beautifully kept
There is no elevator to the top floor. We had 4 suitcases and the host was kind to help with them when we checked in. However was extremely difficult to manage to check out and bring them down the sharp staircases
