Gaslamp Loft Escape Sleeps 7 in Style

We stayed at the Gaslamp Loft Escape (Sleeps 7 in Style) from April 27th through May 2nd, and overall it was a great experience. The location is hard to beat—right in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter, with restaurants, nightlife, and attractions all within walking distance. It made getting around incredibly convenient, and we rarely needed transportation. One thing to be aware of is that the property does not include parking. That said, there are two public parking options nearby, so it’s manageable—you just need to plan ahead. Another important note: the unit is right next to Double Deuce. If you’re sensitive to noise, this could be a concern. Personally, I didn’t mind the music or foot traffic outside, but it’s something worth considering depending on your tolerance. The space itself was comfortable and worked well for our group. Everything felt thoughtfully set up, and we had no major issues during our stay. One recommendation: make sure to watch the host’s video explaining how to access the property before you arrive. It will save you time and prevent confusion during check-in. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

One thing I didn’t particularly like was the front door lock. It only has a standard doorknob lock, and I would have felt more comfortable if it had a deadbolt for added security. While there were no issues during our stay, it’s a detail that could make a difference for guests who prioritize that extra level of safety.
