About this cottage rental

15 km from Orléans, within the grounds of a former fortified house, on an organic farm (fruits and vegetables). An old building has been renovated with exposed stone and fresh colors. Enjoy peace and quiet between the Loire Valley and the forest, close to many sites to visit, including Orléans. On the same property, there are two gîtes (holiday cottages) for 5 and 4 people respectively. In a separate building, on the ground floor, one has direct access from the terrace. Ground floor: living/dining room with wood-burning stove (wood provided), fully equipped kitchen, Bedroom 1, accessible for people with reduced mobility (two single beds) with its own en-suite shower room (shower, toilet, sink).

Upstairs: two attic bedrooms. Bedroom 2 has two single beds (90x190 cm) and an open-plan bathroom (shower, sink, toilet. A screen is provided). Bedroom 3 has an adjoining bathroom separated by a curtain. The single beds can be pushed together to make a double bed.

Outside: small private terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The property is not fenced.

Pets are welcome under certain conditions (pets must not be left alone in the accommodation. A supplement of €3 per pet per night applies. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not permitted.)

PRICE INCLUDES UTILITIES: Electricity and heating are included, firewood is provided. Cleaning and linens are included in the rental price. Beds are made upon arrival. A baby cot is available. A €500 security deposit is required for businesses. One ground-floor bedroom with a bathroom and toilet is wheelchair accessible.

From Orléans, take the N152 towards Vennecy, turn right at the stop sign by the town hall, then turn right again onto Rue de Villiers at the edge of town and continue straight to the end (800 m). From the N60, exit at Chécy, direction Neuville aux Bois-Vennecy (5 km). After the railway line, take the first left.
