We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house in the middle of the woods, right by the frozen lake. The location is wonderfully peaceful, just a few minutes’ walk from the Arctic Snow Hotel.
This wooden cottage was very clean and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, underfloor heating, a cosy fireplace and a sauna. It is located directly on the lake shore, and we could watch the aurora right outside the house.
Communication with the owner was very good and always friendly. We really recommend this place for a family break or holidays.
Everything was great! The only small surprise was that, based on the photos, we expected a section with the glass roof window, but there wasn’t one.

Amazing!!! Beautiful place in the most amazing location. The lake right outside was frozen during our stay in March and the children and us loved it for walking adventures. It is great for viewing the northern lights from. The host Pia is amazing and has a wonderful reindeer place to visit close by. You can also walk to the ice hotel. Wonderful holiday :)

That place is just perfect! In every respect. Worth every penny/cent. The wonderful host is an additional bonus - do not miss meeting her and her reindeers. She is such a wonderful person! It was an unforgettable experience.
A teraz po polsku: najgoręcej polecam! Fantastyczne miejsce, dom, udogodnienia i niezwykle miła i pomocna gospodyni, która prowadzi również pokazy własnych reniferów (zimą; latem biegają po lesie). Obok hotel z rzeźbami lodowymi (z barem) i sąsiad wypożyczający skutery śnieżne. Niedaleko wypożyczalnia biegówek i setki kilometrów pięknych tras. Pojechaliśmy polować na zorzę - była mizerna, ale miejsce jest tak niezwykłe, że i tak wyjechaliśmy zachwyceni.

This is a perfect holiday home. This has everything you want for a holiday and more. It is near the Snow Hotel and Lapland Winter Park. Santa's Village is only 30 minutes away. It is right on a lake and is a perfect location for seeing Northern Lights. The owner, Pia, also owns the reindeer farm on the property, Local Lifestyle Rovaniemi. This is also a must see. She has the best kota hut with a view of her reindeer.
