Welcome to our cozy home in the heart of Orø – a place created for peace, presence, and creative moments.
You’ll stay in a spacious house with a large kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating, and a lovely sunroom where you can enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the garden.
Outside, two connected gardens offer plenty of space for play and relaxation. You’ll also have access to a heated and well-insulated annex with two extra beds – perfect for families or friends traveling together.
The house is located in the center of Orø – close to the local inn, supermarket, Restaurant Bings, and Rickis Café, and just a short trip from the harbor and the beach.
Nearby, you’ll find scenic trails that take you around the island along the fjord, through fields, woods, and meadows, with stunning views of Tuse Næs and the birdlife of Isefjord.
Orø is easy to reach – only 1 hour from Copenhagen, 30 minutes from Roskilde, and just a 25-minute scenic ferry ride to Holbæk. The island has two ferry connections and is also accessible by public transport, making it simple to visit no matter how you travel.
