Tranquility

Really enjoyed my stay. Luke and the others working on the property was also very helpful when I had questions or needed assistance. The flat is just the right size for one or two people and while not much today in the near area, it's perfect for those who want to feel like they've left the city.

The cottage was spacious, more than expected through the images. It was clean, the styling nice. The kitchen is well equipped with machines like an oven and espressomachine. After mentioning that the coffee grain was low by arrival, the host made sure it was filled. The swimmingpool was nice and big with different levels, so potentially nice for kids.

The shower in the cottage was basically fysically broken. I could not stand upright under the showerhead. The warm water was really slow and pressure is low, as if it comes from the main house. The kitchen missed some tools for small cooking. Though the environment looks, and is, very green from the images, the plot is quite built. That also means that there is no real privacy from the way it is designed, exept from the curtains in the room. Every room is on a shared space or path that is used by other guests. Traveling with an infant, this has been the first stay in SA that asked an additional fee for a cot. Missed opportunity for hospitality service.

Beautiful quiet area, host was friendly and helpful.

The double bed was really uncomfortable, to the extent that we just couldn't sleep at all. I spent the night hanging off a small sofa to try give my partner a little rest. The room was nicely equipped and clean, but the furniture was small and basic - if you can't get any sleep it ruins your entire weekend.
