A 300-year-old holiday home on an organic vineyard

Located directly opposite our organic winery in the historic wine-growing village of Reil, this charming, 300-year-old holiday home combines historic character with modern comfort. Situated in the heart of the wine-growing village, it offers four double rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, and can accommodate up to eight guests. On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy breakfast room, a guest toilet and a fireplace area. Outside, a small garden invites you to relax.

The entire house is let as a single unit to self-catering guests. Towels, bed linen and final cleaning are included. Stays of just one night are not possible. Unfortunately, pets are not permitted.

The holiday home is situated in the historic village of Reil, nestled amongst steep vineyards that have been cultivated by the Melsheimer family for six generations. Almost half of the vineyards are rare steep slopes, ideal for growing elegant Rieslings in the mineral-rich slate soils of the Moselle Valley. The vineyards have been organically farmed since 1995 and have been Demeter®-certified since 2013.
Reil itself is a charming, 1,000-year-old wine-growing village where tradition and community spirit thrive. Guests can enjoy peaceful walks through the vineyards, explore the nearby Moselle and sample delicious wines.
