The food was excellent, especially the Sunday carvery! The staff were friendly and helpful. The king size bed was firm and really very comfortable. The atmosphere was peaceful. The shower was powerful.
The pool water was quite cold and the air temperature was really cold in the swimming pool, making it impossible to stay in for long. The changing rooms were a walk through the games room, chilly and awkward, and the changing room were really cold. There were holes in the wall direct to outdoors and the cold wind blew right in.

Lovely room
I had trouble booking but lady was lovely but for 1 night charge 40 more pounds on top of original price of 90 for one sleep 11 pm to 11 am and I asked at time of booking that if the booking is wrong and the ground floor room is gone but have no choice but to go upstairs for another 40 I will need til lunch time to get mobile as I'm disabled son is blind autistic my husband has to get us ready and my daughter and get me down the stairs so then tried to charge another 25 pound but they didn't in the end
