We stayed here for Christmas and the house was large enough to accommodate our extended family. The house was very clean, there were televisions everywhere and we enjoyed playing pool. The host was extremely prompt at answering any questions. Also the area is fantastic with a jogging/walking trail and all the stores and restaurants one could ask for.

We were very happy with our stay at the Hyde Park Lodge. The house is nicely updated and in a very nice neighborhood. There are lots of shopping / dining / supermarket options nearby. Easy access to I-71 if you want to head downtown. Super nice house - nice back yard - lots of parking.

The host was welcoming and the property did serve its purpose. The accommodations were however, exaggerated. The living room couch is counted as a bed that sleeps two but there are no extra blankets for the cold sofa. Every other bed that is larger than a twin counts as sleeping at least two people, so expect to share full size beds. The first floor bathroom is extremely cold with no ventilation. The shower takes some practice getting into without soaking the entire bathroom.The shower head is much too high. The 2nd floor bathroom window had no covering leaving guest exposed. The third floor shower leaks into the ceiling of one of the second floor bedrooms, wetting the carpet near the closet.The property is not handicap accessible .The back screen door lock is broken.
