The cottage has a unique vintage style and is entirely self-contained. It boasts a pretty kitchen and sitting room, both with spaces for dining. Upstairs are the main and second bedrooms, and a bathroom with a freestanding slipper roll top bath and a separate walk in shower.

The cosy sitting room is furnished with a comfortable settee, a rocking chair and period furniture. It features a wood burner for chilly evenings. A Smart TV, fibre fast broadband and a cupboard full of traditional board games are provided for cosy evenings in. A dining table and chairs set in an alcove lends itself as a work station if required.
The kitchen is fitted with freestanding furniture, a belfast sink, pine kitchen table and chairs. An old dresser filled with vintage china and a retro gas cooker with oven and grill feel like a step back in time, with fridge freezer, toaster, kettle and Nespresso machine for modern convenience.

Up the original and winding staircase you will find the main bedroom. The oak framed antique bed has a new and very comfortable standard double mattress. Luxury cotton bedding, electric blanket for wintery nights and a blackout blind are fitted for your comfort. The second bedroom has a small iron framed double bed and can be made up on request. Hanging space and coat hangers are available. Fresh towels and linen are provided on arrival for the duration of your stay - for stays longer than 3 days a change of towels will be provided. (linens weekly).
Outside, a pretty courtyard garden is well lit with both decorative string lights and a more practical night-time sensor for later returns. There's a table and chairs for alfresco dining and comfy seats for morning coffee in the sun. Outdoor cooking facilities include a charcoal barbeque (which can be laid up for you if requested), and for the more adventurous cook, a Kamado mini ceramic grill (instructions provided).

A complimentary welcome box with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and other tasty local and home made treats is prepared for your arrival.

At an additional cost and by prior arrangement, a delicious selection of local foods can be provided if pre-booked to ensure and easy and relaxing break away from the stresses of life.
