This modern and comfortably furnished holiday home lies at the foot of the 916 m high Großer Inselsberg in the Thuringian Forest. It features two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, a bright living area and a large balcony with lovely views. A winter garden in the adjacent building is also available. Ideal for hikers, nature lovers and anyone looking for peace in a green setting
Winterstein lies directly on the Rennsteig, making it an ideal base for hiking and cycling in the Thuringian Forest. Explore the Großer Inselsberg with its toboggan run and bird of prey park, or hike to the nearby Forstgut Winterstein. In winter, cross-country skiing and slopes await in nearby Oberhof. Day trips to Eisenach’s Wartburg, Erfurt, Weimar or Gotha offer cultural variety. Families will enjoy Mini-a-thür park and the fascinating Kittelsthal dripstone cave
