About this house rental
The Cocoonr∕Book&pay agency offers this beautiful character house for rent in Montsecret-Clairefougère. It has two floors and three levels, with a surface area of 110 m² and can accommodate up to six adults and two children. It comprises a 35 m² living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, two shower rooms and a garden of around 300 m². Wi-Fi, sheets and towels included. We look forward to welcoming you!
The accommodation is laid out as follows:
Ground floor:
- A 35 m² living room with TV, fireplace, sofa bed, dining area and open-plan kitchen equipped with: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, etc.
- A separate toilet with washbasin
First floor:
- Bedroom 1: one queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 2: one emperor-size bed (200×220) and adjoining office with pull-out bed (two beds 90×190) with workspace
- Shower room with shower and washing machine
- Separate toilet
Second floor:
- Bedroom 4: cathedral bedroom with a king-size bed (180×200)
- A shower room (with shower) and toilet
For even more comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: barbecue, high chair, table and iron.
Outside:
- 35 m² terrace with furniture to enjoy sunny days
- 300 m² private enclosed garden
The house is ideally located in Montsecret-Clairefougère, in a very pleasant environment. You will be close to all essential shops as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars, markets, etc.

- Hiking and mountain biking in the Normandy countryside, starting from the house.
- The Voie Verte (former railway line) 5 minutes away by car, ideal for walking, cycling or horse riding.
- Villedieu-les-Poêles foundry (copper craftsmanship) – 35 minutes away.
- Château de Flers with park and museum – 20 mins.
- Clécy and Suisse Normande for climbing, kayaking and paragliding – 30 mins.
- Les Roches d'Oëtre, spectacular views and trails – 35 mins.
- Lac de la Dathée (swimming, golf, fishing, sailing) – 25 mins.
- Bagnoles-de-l'Orne: spa resort, casino, tree climbing – 45 mins.

- Rennes Airport: 1 hour 30 minutes away – serves many major French and European cities.
- Easy access by road via the D924 and D512 – a car is recommended to fully enjoy the region.
