About this house rental
The main house also includes both and indoor and an outdoor living area (with a cozy fireplace) with multiple spaces to relax or work, two half bath's, two more full bath's, a family room with TV and an additional bedroom.
There are also two separate bungalows -- perfect for families or friends who want some additional privacy. Both have mini fridges; one has a kitchenette. The bungalows are enveloped by the magical gardens and surrounded by thick, lush vegetation, and feature day beds and working spaces in each where you can spend time in the light filtered through the tropical foliage. Each has its own outdoor patio area with hammocks and outdoor beds as well as fireplaces.
All of the rooms are appointed with high quality, natural cotton linens and towels, and all of the amenities of home. Forgot something? Just ask, and we'll be happy to help.
If you're looking to be surrounded by nature, Casa Pomona is your place! There's a surprise around every corner as you stroll through the seemingly endless gardens and explore this tropical wonderland, all designed to make you feel right at home.
The fruiting trees include plum, orange, lychee, star fruit, lime, guayaba, peach, pear and lime. You may pick and eat them all. Our staff makes refreshing ades out of many.
The garden boasts tropical trees like the jaboticaba, with its luscious marble-sized fruits emerging from the bark, guayacán trees, lion claws, frangipani and the majestic tabachín, or fire tree. Our property's most notable plant is the tropical jade that grows as a vine around the eaves of all our structures. It produces fluorescent green flowers that dangle from above and draw the hummingbirds. You can't mistake them -- and won't believe they're real.
At the center of the gardens you'll find a large pool with a platform for the little ones -- and the length to accommodate lap swimmers. There are spaces to sit nearby and a soccer net and other games, as well as places to picnic or lie down on the expansive lawn.
Opportunities for discovery abound beyond our gate and down the cobblestoned streets. Hike to the waterfalls in the rainy season or climb to the ancient temple atop Tepozteco mountain. Fantastic food and craft cocktails await at any of the nearby boites. Salsa dancing is just around the corner.
One thing is for sure... from the moment you arrive, you'll never be able to forget Casa Pomona!
