About this house rental
On a unique and secluded natural plot in the first row by the fjord lies this holiday home – with stunning water views and only 100 metres to the beach. A small private path leads directly down to the child-friendly fjord, where shallow waters and soft sand invite play, swimming, relaxing days in the sun and the most beautiful sunsets.
The house offers 75 well-designed square metres with four separate bedrooms and a total of six sleeping places:
- an annex with a double bed and fjord view
- a bedroom with a double bed
- a room with an alcove for one person
- a room with a sofa bed for one person
In addition, there is a bathroom and a garage where you will find a parasol, cushions, etc.
The kitchen and living room form the natural and cosiest gathering place in the house. The open fireplace and heat pump ensure pleasant warmth all year round as well as cooling on hot summer days. The view over the fjord acts as a huge living painting. Of course, there is also WiFi, allowing the stay to be combined with streaming or work.
The large wooden terrace, sheltered among the trees, offers plenty of space to enjoy the sun and peaceful surroundings. The outdoor fireplace makes it possible to extend the evenings and gather around the fire – skewers for baking bread over the fire can be found in the garage. There is plenty of room to relax – undisturbed.
Within walking or running distance, you will find beautiful hiking routes, insect bingo for children and, of course, opportunities for year-round swimming and fishing. Or simply enjoy the stunning fjord landscape.
A ten-minute drive takes you to the Statens Museum for Kunst in Doverodde, where you can experience world-class art and enjoy a nice lunch. If you enjoy live music, Høloftet and Agger Darling are cosy local venues. A short drive away, there are fantastic opportunities for water sports such as windsurfing, wave surfing, bodyboarding, wing surfing and SUP. Sydthy Spa and swimming pool are also just ten minutes from the holiday home, and in Struer you will find Kurbad Limfjorden and a wakeboard course.
National Park Thy is nearby with dune plantations, vast heathlands and magnificent nature with marked hiking and cycling trails. There are also opportunities for excursions to small charming harbour towns.
Finally, Hurup is the nearest shopping town with several shops, supermarkets, a good small bakery and café, and a quality butcher who also sells fish, Italian and, of course, Thy specialities. Small roadside stalls also offer delicious local Thy produce.
