Cabin in McKenzie River, OR

About this cabin rental
The entire cabin has been recently updated, with all new kitchen appliances, heated floors in the bathroom, and a luxury shower with two shower heads!
The back deck affords a spectacular view of the McKenzie River. Watch boats drift by all summer long and watch the wisps of mountain fog each morning during the winter. Salmon can be seen spawning in a gravel bed in September, and bald eagles and osprey are nesting in the forest behind the house. The property includes access to Alder Creek, which has a trail to a small waterfall accessible from the back deck.
Walk 200 feet west of the driveway to access one of the best swimming holes and fishing spots on the river. For folks who would like to float the river, there is a boat launch just up river at Deerhorn County park, and several launches down river at Taylor's boat landing and Hendricks Bridge.
During your stay you can book a fly fishing or rafting tour on the McKenzie, or hike in the Willamette National Forest just 30 miles up the McKenzie. We are happy to provide any hiking, biking, boating, skiing or other adventure suggestions!
