The cozy and lovingly furnished vacation home is located within walking distance (approx. 1.2 km) of the popular Hennesee (Meschede) in the small village of Erflinghausen. With its spacious garden, it invites you to enjoy nature and tranquillity.
The house has a bright living-dining room, 1 kitchen, 1 bedroom (1x double bed 160x200) and, if required, the comfortable pull-out couch (for an additional 2 people) in the living room and a shower room.
It offers various vacation possibilities all year round.
Right next to the house you will find cycling and hiking trails through the landscape of the Hochsauerland. The Hennesee lake is ideal for swimming and water sports or for relaxing in the lakeside restaurant. The fully fenced garden with 400 m² offers plenty of space.
The interior was renovated in 2020, including new furniture, and the terraces were completely rebuilt in 2023.
The Neighborhood:
The vacation home is located in a recreational area, close to the lake itself. You can reach the Mielinghausen bathing bay in just a few minutes. It offers a natural beach with sunbathing lawn and a landing stage for passenger boats on the Hennesee. The town of Meschede can be reached by car or bus. Typical of the Sauerland region, the surrounding area consists of beautiful forests, fields, villages and small towns, making it an ideal combination of nature and civilization. While the easily accessible towns offer shopping and refreshment opportunities, the wide expanses of forests and meadows are ideal for hiking and forest bathing. Active leisure activities (hiking, Nordic walking, jogging, walking, inline skating, cycling) around the Hennesee or on the lake (rowing, fishing, sailing, stand-up paddling, swimming) as well as relaxation on the sunbathing lawn at the Hennesee are possible, and a kiosk provides sufficient refreshments in good weather. A round trip on the MS Hennesee is also a great way to unwind. A wide range of leisure activities for young and old in the surrounding area round off a relaxing and adventurous vacation.
