Stylish cottage with covered terrace.
The Space:
Our holiday home "Sauerländer Henne-Lütt" is located in the beautiful Sauerland, the Land of a Thousand Mountains, in the Hennesee recreation area. It was built in half-timbered style and completely renovated in 2022.
It has enough space for 4-5 people on about 60 m2 and consists of two bedrooms (bedroom I with a king-size bed, bedroom II with two single beds and a bunk bed), a cozy living area, a high-quality kitchen and a modern bathroom with an accessible shower. For very small guests there is a baby travel cot and a high chair available.
The modern yet cosy decor and equipment guarantees a relaxing feel-good holiday. Guests will find everything they need in the house including a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, smart TV and, of course, free Wi-Fi.
From the covered terrace with seating or the forest sofa on the meadow you have a unique view of the surrounding picturesque woods and fields to end the day with a glass of wine or a barbecue.
Even in winter, the snowy landscape impresses every year with its breathtaking beauty. Many of the Sauerland's winter sports facilities are easily accessible.
A car park belonging to the house is not directly next to the house, but nearby. To load and unload, the small cul-de-sac in which the house is located can be driven.
The Neighborhood:
The holiday home is located in the Hennesee recreation area in Mielinghausen, i.e. in close proximity to the lake itself. You can reach the Mielinghausen bathing bay in a few minutes on foot. It offers a natural beach with sunbathing area and a jetty for passenger boat trips on Lake Hennesee.
The nearest town (Meschede) can be reached in 10 minutes by car or bus. The wider environment is typical of the Sauerland, made up of beautiful forests, fields and villages and smaller towns, so it's an ideal link between nature and civilisation.
While the cities within easy reach offer shopping and refreshments, the vast areas of forests and meadows invite you for hiking and forest bathing.
Both an active leisure activity (hiking, Nordic walking, jogging, walking, inline cycling) around Lake Hennesee or on the lake (rowing, fishing, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, swimming) and relaxation on Lake Hennesee on the sunbathing lawn, a kiosk provides sufficient food in fine weather. A tour of the MS Hennesee can also leave the holidaymaker very well.
