Sanary is a lovely, largely unspoilt provençal seaside town with an attractive port. The Bon Abri is ideally placed in a quiet side street, 5 minutes walk from the port and its numerous cafes and restaurants, and the huge weekly market (Wednesdays). It has off-street parking (tricky to find the entrance, ask at reception first). The hotel is a typical older style provençal villa which has been sympathetically modernised, with shady gardens surrounding. Our room (no. 9) was on the ground floor, a generous size, comfortably furnished, with a mini-fridge (no kettle). Annaelle and Morgan - who doubles as the chef - looked after us kindly.

It was a pity the restaurant was not open some evenings - but Morgan went to the trouble of finding and booking us an alternative.

das zimmer sowie das bad war extrem klein. grosse, korbulente leute hätten mühe damit. das frühstück war sehr einfach, brot, butter, marmelade. nebst tee und kaffe erhielt man auf wunsch noch einen obstsaft.
