Moore's Cottage

This place was an absolute gem! The hosts went above and beyond to provide everything necessary for a restful getaway in the beautiful Offaly countryside. The location was exceptional, tucked down a quiet lane with a large private garden full of beautiful flowers and old trees towering overhead. The cottage itself looked like an old-fashioned Irish dream, but was also modern and warm, with lots of extra touches for a comfortable stay. The bedroom was ideally set up for maximum rest - a large comfortable bed and plenty of pillows (and good quality linens), as well as blackout curtains that were so handy at this bright time of year. I loved sitting out with a glass of wine in the beautiful stone-walled garden, but also enjoyed the use of the turf-fired stove on chilly evenings. The cottage has a great location for venturing out to see all that the surrounding area has to offer, but is also perfect for staying put and just enjoying the peace solitude. I highly recommend!

Honestly nothing, it was just a lovely place - would go back in a heartbeat.

Great location for touring midlands. Traditional Irish cottage with modern comfort. Lovely hosts.
