The kitchen, with its beautiful Irish green, will remind you that the land of the four-leaf clover is never far away... You can walk down to Bretteville beach, 1.5 km below, and enjoy this magnificent stretch of coastline. With the port of Cherbourg and its Cité de la Mer (Maritime Museum) on one side, and the Barfleur headland and the Gatteville lighthouse on the other, there are plenty of excursion ideas in this area.
