Your Fredericksburg adventure begins at this 2-bedroom house. With 2 king beds and 1 daybed, this beautiful property offers a peaceful escape. Enjoy a relaxing getaway at this "Sunday" style cottage! You will love the front porch, how close it is to Main Street (.6 miles) and all the comforts of this charming home.! This 2 bedroom 2 bath will sleep up to six people and the fully equipped kitchen will also comfortably accommodate your group. NOTE This house has 2 front doors. It is not a duplex. Enjoy this space for your couples getaway or girls trip! It's close to everything and still feels like you’re in the country. I wouldn’t describe it as walkable to Main Street, although some guests do. I will happily answer any of your questions and help you plan your stay.

The host, Ellie, was fabulous. Very responsive, friendly and helpful. The house was very clean and the beds were comfy. The bed pillows were perfect and made for a great nights sleep. There were four of us (females over age of 60) and we all slept great and enjoyed the stay. We would recommend more seating in the living room though. Just not room for more than three people. Maybe replace sofa with new love seat, remove the beautiful but unnecessary piece of furniture next to it and put a chair on both sides of couch. Parking is extremely limited and space available is very narrow. That said we did manage to park a SUV and full size pickup in the drive. Another suggestion is to remove the rose hedges from the front at street as they scratch the vehicles when you try and park in the street and you have to try and get around them when walking up to avoid being scratched yourself. All of that said we would absolutely stay here again and recommend others to check it out.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home and time with family. Great hospitality before and and during our trip. Would definitely return and stay again!

This hostess thought if everything! It really was like staying at an old friends house. She is super communicative as well as thoughtful. I wish I could give more stars.
