About this house rental
We rent a house in Saint aubin sur mer for the holidays.
Our holiday rental is located about 100 m from the bakery, 250 m from the butcher and a mini market so that the car is not mandatory; two supermarkets are located about 2 km from our holiday cottage.
The sea is 150 m (a small isolated and calm cove); the dike and the tourist office are 250 m.
As in all seaside resorts in the summer, it is difficult to park but less than elsewhere; indeed, the house is located a little away from the city center, in a much quieter place (see map) and a wide sidewalk in front of the house allows to park at an angle and therefore accepts a larger number of cars.
The town organizes all summer activities that allow you to occupy without problems your days and evenings in a relaxed holiday atmosphere.
On the dike, at the seaside, as in the city center, restaurants, tea rooms, ice cream parlors or pizzerias will allow you to have a good time.
The beach is not dangerous; she is supervised and even very young children can bathe without fear (under the supervision of their parents); fishing enthusiasts can go fishing for the bouquet (from 01 August), shrimps or shrimps and crabs (with high tides); anglers will be able to catch plaice, bar and other fish.
Finally, in July and August, and even very often in May, June and / or September, the sun is most often at the rendezvous; the temperature of the water, if it does not reach the summits of the Mediterranean, is almost always higher than 21 degrees in summer; for bad days, the city of Caen offers hypermarkets and shops
For history buffs, the whole region is a gold mine: Caen (Memorial, castle guillaume the conqueror, Abbey ladies about 20 km), Bayeux (tapestry Queen Mathilde, museum, Cathedral, the city itself, about 25 kms), Arromanches (the artificial harbor, the landing museum about 10 kms) and many other sites.
On the other side, Cabourg, Houlgate, Deauville and Honfleur are less than an hour away
Finally, for the children of many centers of activities propose all kinds of leisures: Amusement park, Zoological Park, Themed playground park ...

Très bon emplacement pour cette location. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour, trop court pour profiter de cette belle ville qu’est Saint Aubin sur Mer. La maison est agréable et fraîche lors de fortes chaleurs et le jardin est très appréciable pour nos amis à 4 pattes. Nous la recommandons vivement, sans oublier la gentillesse du propriétaire.
