Other things to note
Roads to the cabin are paved and in good repair but require attentive driving as the last 3.8 miles is up & through the East Tennessee mountains. These roads can be quite steep & winding as the cabin sits at 2,200 feet MSL - that is what provides the extra-ordinary mountain views. The driveway is paved all the way to the front steps of the cabin, and the last 300-400 feet is at a steep grade. Please be sure to pay extra attention and take special care at night or during inclement weather. If you have issues with heights or mountain driving, this may not be the cabin for you. Campers or trailers of any kind are not allowed at the cabin. The roads are too narrow to be pulling anything larger than standard vehicles.
There are times of the year when outdoor grills and fire pits will be unusable due to high fire danger during dry spells. Furthermore, all trash must be kept in bear proof bins on site. Finally, due to health reasons, there is no oil, salt, pepper, sugar, spices or firewood on site.
To comply with insurance & HOA requirements, you may be asked to provide names of all guests in your party as well as vehicle information to include license plate number.
Pests & wildlife at Eagles Landing are quite common. While the cabin is treated for pests, there is a chance you will have a run-in with them during your stay as there is no way to completely control their habits. We encourage guests to reach out if wildlife is causing issues and we will handle the situation as quickly & safely as possible.
The cabin utilizes three security cameras outside of the cabin to enhance guest safety.
