About this cabin rental

Escape to the Hideaway, a charming 1800s-style cabin nestled on a secluded 250-acre ranch in the Texas Hill Country. This rustic retreat offers a perfect blend of antique furnishings and modern comforts, making it an ideal getaway for couples, families, or small groups seeking tranquility and adventure.

Accommodations:

The cabin comfortably sleeps up to 7 guests with three distinct sleeping areas:

Loft: King bed Main Level: Queen bed Fireplace Room:  1 Twin and 1 double bed

A full bathroom with an antique tub and shower adds to the cabin's vintage charm.

Highlights:

Fully furnished kitchen (no microwave) Wi-Fi and 32" Wi-Fi TV with DVD player Cozy fireplace heater with glass doors Air conditioning and space heaters Relaxing hot tub for stargazing BBQ grill, porch swing, hammock, and campfire ring (only when not in drought)

Outdoor Activities:

Explore the ranch's nature, birding trails, hiking and mountain biking or simply relax on the porch swing or hammock and enjoy the birds and serene surroundings.  Six benches on ranch for viewing wildlife and nature photography.  Over 50 nestboxes for small cavity nesting birds, 3 bat houses. Hill Country Adventures Nature Center on adjacent property.

Evenings are perfect for stargazing in this Dark Sky area, (Rated Bortle 3) where the Milky Way is vividly visible. Wonderful for amateur astronomers, astrophotography and star parties.
