A group of us stayed 2 nights at the property to do some cycling in the local area. It was a great location for that - we did 3 excellent loops from the house in beautiful countryside. We spent our time in the kitchen/dining area which was a lovely space and there was everything we needed to cook in. Being able to park on the drive was good and there was nice space outside which would have been lovely to sit in had the weather been a little warmer. We didn't book to use the hot tub. 2 of the beds were very comfortable.
The listing clearly stated the house had a sofa bed in the living room which we needed as we had 2 couples and 2 single people. We arrived to find the sofa bed was jammed in the upstairs room with the platform bed. The ladder to that was steep and the bed up there had very little headroom. There was also a child's bed in that room so you could hardly move in there. We managed by using the child's bed mattress and setting it up in the dining room which was far from ideal and not comfortable. The sofa bed was a bit lumpy too. We also came home on the second day to no power. Apparently, the house is on a meter and the previous tenant had left the hot tub on so the electricity had been used. Emma the hostess was very quick to respond, but it took a while to sort out and for a while we thought we were going to have to go home early. The wi-fi was very poor. It was also disappointing that there was no salt, pepper, oil dishwasher tablets or kitchen cloth/sponge. We still had a good time, but if you need 4 beds, be sure of the arrangements when you book.
