We stayed at Maria House in Kefalos with our two young children and had a wonderful experience. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful – they even waited for us at the village bus stop (with all our luggage!) and drove us to the apartment. When we arrived, a chilled watermelon was waiting for us in the fridge – such a warm welcome!
The apartment itself is lovely: very clean, well-equipped, and centrally located in the village. It was a joy to wake up in the morning to the view of the church and the sound of its bells. The hosts were always available for any questions and even helped us rent a car at a fair price. It really felt like there was always someone to turn to if we needed anything.
Kefalos is a small and peaceful village with nice restaurants nearby and even a small authentic windmill museum at the entrance to the village. Overall, we had a great stay and felt we received excellent value for money.
Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality – we would gladly come back!

Apartment in excellent location in old Kefalos. Plenty of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. Well stocked apartment and spotlessly clean. Would definitely stay here again.
Location on booking not quite right and does not take you to apartment. You can ring for help but I think just tweaking the location for booking.com would help greatly. No other issues. Thank you for the watermelon!
