The location was really good. Close to town and some great walking trails in and around Tonquin beach. We had our little dog with us and it felt just like home. The place is spacious and so well appointed. We loved the MCM decor throughout the home. It was perfect for us
Although we loved the decor, the soft seating was a little challenging for our aging bodies … it looked amazing but not ideal for us seniors.

First of all: location, location, location! Tofino is a wonderful place to start, but The Cougar's Den places you at walking distance of shops, transport options, some of the most interesting trails,...
The house itself is an oasis of great taste, offering a great view on the water from the kitchen/seating area, great sanitary facilities, comfortable bedding and seating options,...
If and when we return to Tofino, we will not hesitate to stay here again (is there a bbq to be found to use on the cosy walled in terrace?).
It is really hard to find anything at fault, but a a bit more cooking equipment (one more larger pot, some utensils) might have come in handy. Not a problem if you plan on eating out all the time, but the property itself invites you to linger, so it might jus as well acommodate for that.

All amities available and on a short walking distance from the beach. The host communicated very well. We loved it!!

We liked the space and the eclectic design of the rooms. Beautiful windows and a lovely internal garden that we couldn't use sadly because of the torrential downpour. But we were ready for Tofino's storm season. Wonderfully equipped kitchen - everything you could ask for.
