Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet mit Geschirr und Küchenutensilien. Ausserdem war eine Grundausstattung an Salz, Pfeffer, Tee usw. vorhanden, was wir sehr schätzten. Sie liess sich in der Übergangszeit gut am Abend in Kürze aufheizen. Das Schlafzimmer im unteren Stock ist recht kühl, was im Sommer sicher angenehm ist. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Dachterrasse bietet einen schönen Blick über Ventimiglia. Abgesehen vom Verkehrslärm von der Autobahnausfahrt ist die Lage als ruhig zu bezeichnen. Der Schlüssel befindet sich in einer Schlüsselbox, das Check-in ist online. Dadurch wäre spätes Einchecken möglich.

Die Wohnung hat eine steile Eingangstreppe ohne Geländer. Auch die Wendeltreppen in der Wohnung sind sehr eng und knapp bemessen. Die Wohnung sollte nur gebucht werden, wenn man gut zu Fuss ist, da sie oben in der Altstadt liegt und viele Treppen hat. Die Wohnung war nicht gut geputzt, was aber nachgeholt wurde, da wir reklamierten. Es gab kein WLAN, was bei der Buchung als Ausstattungsmerkmal angegeben war und auf Nachfrage als momentan nicht verfügbar erklärt wurde. Der Mobildatenempfang ist schlecht. Es gibt keinen Geschirrspüler. Die Kapselkaffeemaschine fehlte, doch es gibt einen Mokaexpress.

Great location, with lovely views. The Old Town is amazing for wondering around and the local shops, especially the bakery are very convenient. Some very pleasant bars and restaurants all around the ancient Walls. Ventimiglia is well connected by trains to Nice, Genoa, Milan and Turin, and the daily market is worth spending time in. Don't forget to take in the Roman ruins in the East of the town.

We had no running water on the day that we arrived and it took many messages to the agent and calls to Booking.com before anything happened. Six hours later, we could finally flush the toilet. The following day, we discovered a leak from the hot water tank (probably why the water had been turned off) and despite several more messages to the agent, this problem was never fixed during our stay. I ended up having to improvise a system to redirect the flow into the bidet, to stop the apartment from flooding. On the final two days, we had no hot water. Problems happen, but I would have preferred a more pro-active engagement with the agent to fix them. A shame that there was no wifi, considering the amount of data I burned through trying to get a response.
