The place is very nice and quiet, no noise at all, and the rice field views are beautiful. The garden is lovely, the room is spacious, and the bathroom is modern and nice. Check-in was smooth with the lockbox, and the host was very responsive. There was an electrical issue, but she handled them quickly.
No hand towels or face towels, and no beach towels. There were also no toiletries (soap/shampoo), so if you’re a tourist staying a few days in Seseh, you’ll need to buy your own. There’s also no holder for toiletries in the shower, so everything has to sit on the floor, which is inconvenient.
Cleaning was poor :( I arrived to find trash from the previous guest in the room and bathroom (see pictures). The bedsheet looked dirty, there were sands when I arrived! So I’m not even sure if they changed them for me after the previous guests left. The leather chair was very dirty; I wiped it myself with wet wipes and it turned brown.
For stays under 10 days, there’s only ONE cleaning, which is quite low for Bali standards. If you go to the beach daily, be prepared for sand on the floor and no clean towels since there are no cleaning and no beach towels. I asked for extra cleaning, but the host said the cleaning lady lives far away, which is a weird excuse if you run a rental business.
The AC wasn’t very cold and needs maintenance, and the shower head needs cleaning and fixing, the water splashes everywhere. The electricity even ran out in the middle of the night, which shouldn’t happen. The host could easily track and top up earlier using the PLN app, so that shows a bit of a lack of organization.
Overall, it’s a peaceful place with nice views, but it’s better suited for long-term monthly stays rather than short-term rentals, due to the limited amenities and cleaning.
