Communication with the hosts was good. The property was a short walk from Harwich Town station, passing an excellent fish & chip shop from where we ordered a takeaway. The house was bursting with character with the kitchen & the bedroom being by far the nicest rooms.
There are a lot of ornaments and bits and pieces that weren’t to our personal taste and the ancient stair lift was rather imposing and gave the whole place the air of a granny annexe from a Dickens novel. The weather outside was freezing and we struggled to stay warm downstairs but to be fair there were electric heaters and rugs. The bathroom was freezing.

Delightful cottage with oak beams. Fully equipped kitchen, very comfy bed, large shower. A couple of minutes walk to pubs, restaurants, and the foreshore with it's interesting history. We really enjoyed our stay and would book again on our next visit to Harwich.

The house was very comfortable and very clean
Could do with a new shower head as it only trickles out
Hot water taps only trickle as well other than that it was lovely so nice that we have booked to go back again
