Huon Valley House

We had a wedding at Home Hill so the location was perfect. We needed space for our children and partners plus our parents and this place fitted us all in beautifully. With four bedrooms, several sitting areas (inside and outside) and loads of space we were very comfortable. The house was gorgeous and immaculate and toasty warm (it was a pretty ordinary day/night weatherise when we stayed). The hosts were very responsive and able to attend to any concerns.

There was nothing not to like!

The location is lovely as is the internal space. In all it was good to find a place that accommodates a larger number of people.

It would have been good to have a folder of information. We twice had baked meals and each time the oven failed to cook in the time usual in our home cookers. A lot of people don’t have induction cook tops so a brief rundown on using it would have helped. A little TLC required around the place: water damage in the bathroom, upgrade of lawns. The automatic light switch in the ensuite is fine but a note that the proper light switch is past the basins on the wall might have been a help!

Would have loved a king bed in the main bedroom other than that it was good.
