Great location. 6 lads stayed for the darts which is very close (15-20 mins walk if that). House is very nice and has everything you need.
Communication is long and not very good. Asked for a £250 deposit the day before, fine, as this was advised in advance but shocking comms in getting it back. Took a week and a number of messages and then calling up.

Lovely house, lots of room. Warm and cosy. Great location, short walk to a corner shop and lake walk, and kids playground right outside.
Provided a travel cot on request, lots of room for all the family, great bedrooms.
Check in was straight forward.
Lots of parking.
A bit short of some basics, like cutlery and mugs, (fortunately we had some spares with us).
Communication wasn't always great, but got there in the end.

Property itself was amazing good size. Really clean on entry and was a really comfortable space and heating worked well getting up to temp relatively fast. Can’t thank the host enough for being so amazing.
Only small things that weren’t amazing the instructions for the lockbox were a bit confusing you have to go into the back garden and the key was next to the back door and I would’ve appreciated a little bit of a faster response but overall was still a great stay

- Great location, very close to Xscape etc. so plenty to do. In walking distance of the property is a park/green space and small shop
- Good size house with comfy beds
- 2 table areas meaning there is room for everyone to sit and eat (we had adults in the dining room and kids in the kitchen)
- Nice quiet residential street with parking available on the driveway and street
- Communication is very poor, very hard to get any information before check in, and a deposit was requested an hour before check in when we were already on our way
- Major issue with the shower leaking - One of the en-suite showers leaks through the ceiling and onto switches on the floor below. This isn't a new issue as we noticed a number of damp patches on arrival. This is a major safety concern, and we opted not to use that shower again, leaving 11 of us to use the one shower, which is also in an en-suite and therefore somebody's bedroom as there isn't a shower in the main bathroom
- Seriously lacking in basic essentials in the kitchen, 1 plastic wine glass, 1 mug, 5 knives etc. for a house that can sleep upto 14, made for an interesting Christmas Day Dinner!
- General TLC is poor - kitchen cupboards don't close so they are permanently hanging open, lots of missing lamp shades so its just the bulb hanging from the ceiling, all the clocks are wrong. etc. These are minor, but are easy fixes
- Not the cleanest, we had agreed an early check in time, however the cleaner was clearly nowhere nearly done when we did arrive (granted we were early but the cleaner was miles off), so we opted to go and do something else rather than hang around and put the pressure on as we wanted the property to be clean. The cleaning was OK, but not great. The oven wasn't clean, the oven gloves were gross, the extendable part of the table was full of crumbs (and this was broken so we ended up not using it anyway)
