Studio N3 - Mari-Mari

Location is brilliant plus free parking. There is a supermarket across the road and a bus stop All the sights are walkable within 15-20 mins and it's only a few minutes walk from shops, town and the market. Great base camp for a couple. Washing rack was helpful for towels and there was a microwave for food (there are other cooking facilities but we didn't use them). The fact it had a fridge freezer meant we could refreeze our Ice packs for picnics. Main bed was comfy enough and there is plenty of rail space and room for bags etc. The ability to get the key out of hours was good (although it's very dark and behind a building).

For a couple this would be fine but not for a family of 4. The sofa bed is not a proper sofa bed, it's an uncomfortable click and clack thing only suitable for one child. We therefore ended up with the other child sharing our bed. Bedding was billed extra which I hadn't realised so pushed the cost up a fair bit (towels are also extra but we took our own). Despite paying for bedding, we only had 2 pillows between 4 people. The shower is not great, and once used floods the way to the toilet (although they do give you a squidge). You have to go through the bedroom to access the toilet- no problem for a couple but if you have someone on the sofa, bear that in mind. There is only enough hot water for one person to shower. The deposit is hefty and although the I instructions say they only take a swipe to get your details if needed (and won't be deposited unless charges are applicable) it actually does take it. If I had known I would have paid it just before travel rather than ahead if time. It was refunded a few days after returning home.
