Das Ferienhaus war perfekt für uns zwei. Der Ausblick ist grandios . Wir hatten zwei traumhafte Wochen und kommen gerne wieder.

Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für einen Urlaub benötigt. Die Sonnenuntergänge auf der Terrasse sind wunderschön. Der Pool ist sehr erfrischend und der Ausblick in die Täler ist einfach toll. Das Haus liegt wirklich sehr abgelegen und man muss schon viele kurvenreichen und teils schlechte Straßen überwinden um zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten und den Stränden in der Toskana zu kommen. Wer gerne Auto fährt wird kein Problem haben. Der Besitzer spricht nur italienisch ist aber super nett.

Eine wirklich sehr schöne Unterkunft in toller Landschaft, mit schön gelegenem Pool und atemberaubendem Ausblick. Wir haben uns in der sehr geräumigen Wohnung wirklich wohl gefühlt, die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, ordentlich und mit einer leistungsfähigen Heizanlage ausgestattet. Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass die Wohnung sehr abseits in den Bergen liegt.Für Ausflüge zum Meer muss man mind. 45 Minuten Fahrzeit einplanen, nach Siena ca. 1,5 Stunden. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, spricht aber nur italienisch.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Sasso Pisano (ca. 3 km entfernt), allerdings mit begrenztem Angebot. Reisetipps: Die Region ist dünn besiedelt und stark bewaldet. Durch die Nutzung der Erdwärmezur Stromgewinnung befinden sich im Umkreis zahlreiche Kühltürme.

Stayed here for 6days. Perfect for relaxing by the pool or in the room. Beautiful views of the valleys & sunset. Amelio was very welcoming. He allowed use of his log burning BBQ and also offered to prepare & light it for us at our chosen time without any fuss. Would definitely stay here again.
Car a must (free parking on location). 10mins drive to closest villages. Nicest restaurants are average 35mins away but completely worth the drive to and from, although recommend giving the BBQ a shot too :). Local Butcher located in the Coop in nearby village in Castelnuovo.
