The Welcome Home provides an incredible, dog-friendly way for up to eight guests to enjoy an Oregon Coast vacation, with natural beauty and modern amenities sure to please all of your family and friends.
Located in charming Seal Rock, about 10 miles south of Newport, this secluded bluff home is spacious and relaxing, surrounded by incredible ocean and mountain views courtesy of the wraparound deck, and packed with fun activities like a game room featuring a pool table. Best of all, Seal Rock State Park's sandy beach is just a quarter-mile from your door!
The living area's flatscreen TV and DVD player make for great movie nights, with internet access providing entertainment from any of the room's comfy furnishings, but with the Pacific Ocean just outside, it can be tempting to just curl up next to the woodstove and enjoy the view.
The handsome indoor dining table is perfect for quick and intimate meals alike, and offers easy access to an oversized island with barstools or some quick fresh air thanks to the sliding glass deck doors nearby. The spacious, sunny kitchen is fully equipped with expansive countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dishwasher for quick, easy cleanup.
The home's lower level offers guests additional space and seclusion with a laid-back family room, featuring a cozy sofa and futon, flatscreen TV with DVD player, and fully stocked bookshelf. There's even a game room with a pool table nearby, and easy access to the lower level deck for more great ocean views!
With three bedrooms, three full baths, and the family room's futon, up to eight guests can comfortably stay in this multilevel home - including infants thanks to accommodations like a crib, high-chair, and baby gate, and dogs (though a small pet fee is required). Between the master bedroom's queen bed and soothing glider, the second bedroom's generous queen, and the third's two twin beds, guests of all ages are sure to get a good night's sleep.
With two baths (one of which has a lovely soaking tub with a separate shower) and a private washer/dryer, everyone will be clean and refreshed, ready to explore the beautiful Oregon coastline!

Lovely home with all necessary amenities and lots of space for the family. The most comfortable master bed I slept in all week! We had a wonderful time.

We just checked out after a weeks stay. Herr are the Pros and coms
Pro: Great view of the ocean, there was enough room for all of us. The kitchen was stock with pots, pans and plenty of serving wear. The view from the master bedroom was beautiful.
Cons: The beds must be over 10 years old. One room had 2 twins that is great for kids but no adult over 5’11 and were super uncomfortable. 2 guest ended up sleeping on the couches. The couches sunk in as well. No wood was supplied. The listing said that wood was supplied, we ended up buying a lot of wood. It gets cold in the house. There is no Netflix on the upstairs tv or cable. Good thing we brought an attachment so we could connect it to the tv. Do not take long showers or baths. The hot water runs out fast. This is why I am giving 4 stars.

We had a great stay at this lovely home. Lots of room. Great kitchen area!! House was nice and clean! 4 stars only because the dryer needs help!! It sounds like it’s about to give out! It did dry my clothes but it makes lots of noise! Also home could use a bigger TV. It’s a little tricky to find, cause it’s hidden a bit but I kinda like that! Close to some beautiful beaches and a great restaurant just down the street. The Luna restaurant I believe was what it was called!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable place. Plenty of space, beautiful views, super close to the beach area, plenty of towel-always is a plus-and shampoo. The only thing was the coffee maker (2 of them) didn’t have coffee pot. Definitely will comeback!
