Welcome to Over The Dune at Rockaway Beach!
Our wonderful beach home has plenty of room to bring your
entire family. Enjoy lounging and eating out on the large deck and
sitting around the propane firepit while dinner is cooking on the
propane BBQ.
Sip coffee in the morning while listening to the ocean, and catch
glimpses of the waves from the deck, kitchen, primary bedroom,
and west bedroom. We call it our “peek-a-boo ocean view”
Our new game room downstairs is a perfect place to play poker,
carpetball, air-hocky, bumper pool , or some classic video games.
A second TV and couch make this area a great hangout spot.
Upstairs, enjoy the great room with a game table to put together
a puzzle or play a board game. The game table also serves as an
extension to the dining table, enabling up to twelve to eat
together next to the large kitchen. The table is light and easy to
move. Stools from the game room can be brought upstairs to add

additional seating at the kitchen island. A booster seat is stored in
the laundry room.
On those cool evenings, curl up next to the propane fireplace. Use
the two switches on the right side of the fireplace to turn on the
fire and fan. Don’t forget to turn it off before you all head to bed!
Beach access is located a quick 1 minute walk out the front door to your left as you exit the house. Follow the road past the palm trees to reach the charming short public access trail to the beach.
Enjoy seven miles of incredible Oregon coastline. Look to your left
on the beach and you may see the famous twin rocks in the
distance. To your right across from the creek is Manhattan Beach
State Recreation Site.
When you come back from the beach, you can use the outdoor
showerhead to rinse off the sand. Temperature control is in the
garage.
Pets are allowed of course! We have dog towels by the front door
for drying off the pup after adventuring in the sand and water. We
also have dog blankets and toys, and your own doggy dinner area
next to the pantry in the kitchen. A pet waste station is located on
the fence next to the front door. Please make sure you pick up
after your pups both on the property and out on the beach. If
your pup has an accident inside, we have cleaning supplies in the
dog blanket basket by the couch.
