Firstly, let me say this. If you or your loved ones you’re traveling with get motion sickness easily take it slow and stock up on the Dramamine. Scenery is gorgeous. Switch back mountain galor in the best of ways to get to this resort. Once there it’s so clean and the staff is BEYOND AMAZING! I was having WiFi issues the night I stayed and it was my first solo trip. So not having the ability to reach someone in case of an emergency nestled nervously in my chest. The front desk was amazing, they replied to me the second I needed anything or had any questions. Mr. Trevor made a point to come out in the middle of the night at 11:00 while raining mind you!!! To help me with the WiFi. He was so patient and kind and considerate. Because of this and how he and the front desk staff treated me my first solo trip ever especially camping trip turned from excited/nervous to settled, comfortable and happy I made the decision to come pay this fine place a visit. They sent out scheduled events such as guided hikes, fun times around a campfire with s’mores and mimosas etc. they have a play ground for the kiddos, pickleball courts, so many things to find around every nook and bind. They have an amazing bathhouse/restrooms. They are modern and they also have an onsite laundry room. It was like traveling around a perfectly blended modernized meets whimsical and traditional camping neighborhood where everyone goes for the same thing. Just peace, quiet, a moment to be present with yourself and loved ones. They also have an on site general store where you can purchase food and drinks of all assortments. If you’re looking for something new and exciting. Something where you can mainly focus on just being. This is the place. I LOVED the yurt. It was everything that I needed for a comfortable and pleasantly refined stay. I was in a tent honey but I was in a teeent 💅. A fancy tent. 😌
Upon arrival I wish I would have been able to park my vehicle closer to my yurt but again that was for a quick escape if I needed to make one. After realizing I was in safe hands. I honestly can say I appreciated the walk from my yurt to my car when it was time to leave and the bath house. Which I’m pretty sure if you needed to or wanted they may pick you up and drop you off with golf carts. Double check with them though! I only bring that up because I have family members that would have trouble walking due to health issues but I seen handicapped friendly and accessible spots around the resort so they probably have handicap friendly cabins/other rentals too. This really isn’t a didn’t like. I just ran out of room up top to keep writing there. 😅

It was so beautiful and relaxing.
The only thing I did not like is the distance to the restrooms. It was uphill going back to our accommodation. Other than that I loved it.
