Spotlessly clean. It was convenient to where I needed to be. Excellent communication with host. Extremely quiet. The price was very reasonable considering the location.

I had not realised that it was shared kitchen and bathroom. It was not a problem as we did not see anyone, but maybe would not have suited me for a longer stay.

The apartment was very well kept, clean, with a very spacious bedroom (with a very comfortable bed), a large bathroom, and a kitchen with all you needed for a quick lunch or a bigger meal, coffee and tea making facilities, breakfast snacks and a few complimentary drinks (mineral water and fruit juices) in the fridge. The apartment is in a very quiet location, yet conveniently placed, next to a bus stop and less than 5 minutes' walk from the metro train station. The manager is incredibly helpful and polite, and there is a lot of useful information in the apartment about going to and from Central Rome and about things to do. It is also managed in a very eco-friendly way (all lights are led lights, and there are recycling bins in the apartment, so you know you are doing your bit for the environment!). The price was incredibly convenient, to the point that some of the local Roman relatives whom I was visiting asked for the apartment's details, as they will recommend it to their friends as a place were to stay.

The apartment is distant from the centre of Rome but do not let this put you off it! You can quickly get to the middle of the Eternal City with the metro train and, if you wish to see a lesser known area of Rome, the nearby EUR district certainly deserves a visit. And, similarly, with the metro train you can get to the nearby seaside.
