House was a great location if you are visiting Indiana Beach. Literally a 3 min drive right around the corner from the main entrance. Less than 10 mins away from groceries and fast food to south. Owner was pleasant, but communication was not great. Messages through VRBO took over an hour or over night to get a response. I tried calling the owner twice and the call was declined immediately both times. Owner called back 3-4 hours later only because I mentioned the dishwasher was full when I arrived. Seemed quick to end the call, never asked about my stay and assumed everything went well. Check in was simple. Check out was simple. Wifi was good. The water in the house STINKS, likely well water. An adult was taking a shower downstairs and I could smell the water in the upstairs bedroom. You could smell it all across the living room and kitchen too. Everytime you would use a sink or wash your hands it would stink. They had a water leak several days before our stay, but they did a good job of cleaning it up and making temporary repairs so we could stay. The damage didn't really affect our stay. The 4 boys (11-14yrs old) stayed comfortably in the room with 2 twin beds and a full size hide-a-bed. Plenty of TVs around the house.
