Abbey View Coach House

I can’t rave enough about this house… quietly tucked away off the main road into Youghal. Enough space for 4 adults and one child not to kill each other and two separate bathrooms. Perfect! Plus welcome snacks, fresh croissants every morning and complimentary tea, coffee etc! What a place ❤️

Fantastic…Very clean and comfortable. Space to kick back and relax after a day exploring the city. I would recommend this to anyone. Your home while on holiday.

Great stay at Abby Coach House with my cousin on a girls trip. Freda was very communicative and the cottage was well stocked with yogurts, coffee for French press, milk, butter, bread, fruits, granola and tea. The array of warm pastries in the morning was lovely. The parking is a bit tricky, especially if it’s raining as the side street is quite narrow if you’re parking around the corner in front of the abandoned gas station (and it may be full so you have to figure out another location). She has nice vanities in the 2 bedrooms with hair dryers and the downstairs has a warming rack which is nice. Would recommend - just be sure to bring a sleep mask as there’s a skylight right above your head in the upstairs bed so the light is pretty bright early in the morning.

Parking was a bit tricky and not easy to get luggage to the property if there’s no temporary street parking available in front of the house.

Freda and the staff of the Abbey View Coach House were great hosts. We were missing our luggage from our Friday arrival at Shannon and they were happy to wait for delivery of it. Even though it never came until our next destination. The Coach House was stocked with breakfast makings. On top of that Freda had left fresh crescents and other breakfast rolls at our doorstep. The rooms themselves were very comfortable. We would recommend Abbey View Coach House highly!
