Absolutely lovely! A clean, fully equipped, home away from home only a five minute walk to the center and stunning views from every window.
On top of that, a host that cannot be topped for kindness! Not only did Enrico pick us up in town with our luggage but he drove us back down for dinner so we didn’t have to walk after a long day of travel. Above and beyond that, when I needed medical attention on our last day, our amazing host, arranged everything on his Sunday morning and then drove me to a (not so) nearby town to see a doctor. He then took me to get my prescription and dropped us off at the train station. Basically, his entire morning was dedicated to my care and he would not even accept even gas money in return. A truly wonderful person. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

San Vito di Cadore is a charming and peaceful village, ideal for enjoying nature and avoiding the high prices of nearby Cortina d'Ampezzo. The house is conveniently located on the main road, making it easily accessible by car or public transport. It's also just a short walk from the beautiful lake in town.
The property is fully equipped: a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook, a spacious and modern bathroom, central heating, and thoughtful touches like cozy slippers to make you feel at home. We even found juice and pasta waiting for us on arrival — such a kind gesture after a long travel day.
The highlight of our stay was Enrico, the host. He was always attentive, friendly, and ready to help. He gave us great recommendations for exploring the area and even gave us a ride to the start of one of our hikes. His warmth truly made the experience even more special.
Enrico’s house is the perfect base to explore the Dolomites in summer. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
