Les Suites Yodyne is conveniently located a short walk from Fives station, it was cosy and very chic with a compact kitchen, bathroom (with washing machine), lovely living area and comfortable bedroom overlooking the local cathedral and very French streetscape. There were a number of mini supermarkets close by and we were lucky enough to run into Alphonse who owns the Lebanese restaurant 20 metres away and who was delighted to talk about Australia with us. The metro is easy to use and we were able to travel very easily between Lille and other places of interest.
Even though we knew there were stairs, it’s not easy getting up them with large suitcases so be warned! Having a washing machine was so convenient but maybe a drying rack would come in handy
