This charming 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is just steps from the beach, offering the perfect coastal escape. The open-concept living and dining areas are bright and airy, while the fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to enjoy meals with a view.

HOME LOCATION
Located just steps to the beach and a few minutes from the Newport Pier (providing you with 360-degree views of the ocean) as well as just a quick drive or bike to the Historic Fun Zone, & Iconic Balboa Island Ferry and Balboa Pier you are never far from the Action. Directly out in front of the Home is miles of beach where you will find Volleyball Courts, The Boardwalk and plenty of Beach to explore. Just a short walk in the other direction is the Bay where you can sail, canoe, kayak, etc. There are many restaurants (some quite famous) with pretty much every type of food you could ever want within walking distance. Enjoy high end shopping and dining at the newly developed Lido Isle and the historic Balboa Theater. There is an actual brewery and of course establishments with bars, music, etc also within walking distance. There is great surfing and classes available to learn to surf right on our beach.
From our home, you can safely walk or ride bikes anywhere on the peninsula, balboa island, or down to Huntington Beach (45-minute bike ride 1 way) along the oceanfront boardwalk or 20 Min by car. However, with more than 50+ restaurants & bars, shops, electric boat/jet ski rentals, and Surfboard/Paddle-board Lessons all within a 2-15 minute walk, you will never need to travel far.
For those of you seeking a Daytime adventure, the Catalina Express, Whale Watching Tours, and Sailing Adventures all depart from the Balboa Ferry Area. For those of you with kids, the Lighthouse park is also just a bike ride away making this home an ideal location for families. For those of you with the itch to shop, we recommend hopping on the ferry to Balboa Island. If you can't find what you are looking for, the world-famous Shops at Fashion Island have it all located just a 5-minute drive the Island.

You are provided one designated space in the two‑car garage. Mid‑sized vehicles are recommended for the easiest access.

Washer and Dryer are located in the Garage, shared with the other unit, and are coin-operated.

This property accepts one (1) pet with a fee of $399 plus tax and applicable fees. All pets must be disclosed at the time of booking. Certain breeds may not be permitted at the discretion of the property manager. Pets must not be left unattended. If a pet becomes a nuisance, including excessive barking, or poses a threat to other residents or guests, you may be required to remove the pet or your reservation may be canceled without refund. All potty accidents must be reported to the property manager immediately. Additional charges may apply to cover any repairs or damages caused by pets.

Area was great beach was beautiful parking was tight. House was nice needs some work. Sliding door to balcony was rusted and broke. It's just a older place but it was neat and clean. The coin wash and dryer is diabolical. I don't like the late check in and early check out especially if I'm paying for a full day. Overall it was a fun time

By far the BEST thing about this property is the location, which is wonderful! I only gave it an overall rating of 3 stars because for the nightly price, the duplex is not too well maintained. There were little things that were inconveniences--for instance, the dryer didn't work (which was not obvious until after it took our money). First time we have ever had to have to pay to do our laundry in a Vrbo rental, by the way. So we had to drag out wet loads to a laundromat a few blocks away. If you have more than one car to park, it's very tricky to find parking nearby on the street. Disposal didn't work...dishwasher had issues...one of the main bedroom TVs didn't work...no bathtub plug...a few loose cabinets doors...no AC (be warned if you go in the hot months, although they do provide fans)...very outdated surfaces...not enough comfortable seating in the family room. It was just old and tired furniture. The patio seating and tabletop were filthy, as was the barbecue. But like I said, if you want an unbeatable location, and you're not fussy about the rest, this property will work fine for you. We had a blast on the beautiful beach and enjoyed Santos Tacos and Cold Stone a quarter mile away. The donut shop across the street is great too!
