About this house rental
Castle House, located in the charming seaside town of Gulval near Penzance, comfortably accommodates up to four guests and features a lovely south-facing lawn garden and enclosed courtyard at the rear, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine.
Upon entering through the stunning stained-glass door, guests are welcomed into a spacious living room complete with a wood stove, flat-screen TV, and Wi-Fi. An adjacent dining area provides ample space for families and friends to enjoy a meal together, prepared in the fully fitted kitchen, with all modern amenities including oven/stovetop, large refrigerator/freezer, and microwave.
At the back of the property, an additional utility area provides perfect storage for those sandy buckets and shovels or wetsuits after a day at the beach. The utility room leads to an enclosed paved courtyard with an outdoor bathroom.
Upstairs, the property has two bedrooms, one king and one full, both beautifully decorated and offering a comfortable place to rest after a day of exploring the local area. The hallway leads to a large family bathroom complete with a corner shower, freestanding tub, sink, and toilet.
Castle House is a wonderful example of a classic character home in Gulval, and it is conveniently situated for accessing local amenities and activities, including Penzance, St. Michael's Mount, and the many attractions of West Cornwall.
Famous for its pirates, you can soak in the atmosphere of the historic port town of Penzance. Go for a swim in the outdoor pool, walk the Southwest Coast Path or spend time looking around the town, with plenty of main street and independent shops on offer. Further afield why not seek out one of the many hidden coves around the local area, Lamorna Cove and Porthcurno to name a few, or take a trip to the fabulous beach at Sennen and watch the waves crash into the shore at Land's End.

Absolutely loved the place. Everything is very well thought through. Great facilities, lots of cooking utensils. Felt like home. Fireplace (and logs) add so much charm to the property. Everything is very clean and new. Great for family stay. Definitely recommend.
